This was sick! I like difficult platformers, so I had a great time with this. I dig the simple graphics, they definitely have a "style" even though there's not a ton going on. Instantly thought of the Badeline sequences in Celeste. The ghosts definitely contribute the most to making this difficult, but I think missing inputs and slippery floors ended up killing me the most. This would probably be even more fun with some coyote time
The gane does have cayote time! Homever ive never made cayote time and i screwed it up. Its tied to the framerate and the higher it is the less you have of it 🥲
Good job! The idea is not the most original but it is done very well. Music and sfx worked well together. There are a few things that would make it a bit of a smoother experience, such as:
No slippy player movement? Makes one block platforming weird. Also no qol features like jump buffering and coyote time.
Play an animation when another copy is spawning, so that it doesn't just appear and kill you instantly
A lot of the time it felt less about planning your route and more about platforming though. The difficulty scaling was also really tough.
Pretty fun, personally feel like the ground is too slippery though, as well as that there should be some indication ot when a new clone is about to spawn so you don't accidentally stand in the spawn place and just die from that. Other than that the game is really fun.
Really fun game reminds me of shady bears good job i had a lot of fun but its a bit hard i couldnt make it past the first level because i have a smalll computer
Great game with a spectacular amount of polish for something in a game jam. The character feels slippy and floaty making it hard to properly traverse the level. I could only get to level 2. Besides that I had a great time and I hope you keep making games!
Really love this game, but starting from the second level, the difficulty ramps up like crazy. By the time I got to the third level, I realized that the air control of the character is quite limited, making it really hard to land on those small platforms. On top of that, the long level layout causes a lot of ghosts to spawn right on the critical path. Aside from the difficulty needing some balancing, it’s honestly a really well made game.
Ive heard a lot about how not so perfect the jumps in my game are 😅 i want to thanl everyone for the feedback. I will consider this for my future games

I would add some air control, the side jump velocity is constant and it can get really frustrating, you feel completelly adrift once you lift off the ground.
Other than that, i'ts the best game i've seen here so far

Oh wow! Well it was running buttery smooth, so my jumps must've been eaten by the high framerate hahaha

the game has coyote time, homever i never programmed coyote time before so i made it tied to delta time, not the best choice.
